🚚 Shipping

How long does delivery take?

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Once dispatched, delivery times depend on your location within South Africa. We'll send you a tracking notification so you can follow the journey.

What are the shipping rates?

Flat-rate shipping applies across South Africa:

  • Gauteng: R89
  • Outside Gauteng: R99
  • FREE on orders over R799 — no code needed, applied automatically at checkout

No surprises at checkout. Your cat may still judge you, but not for hidden fees.

Do I qualify for free shipping?

Yes — spend R799 or more in a single order and shipping is on us. The discount applies automatically at checkout; no code required. Your cat approves of this arrangement.

Do you deliver to rural areas?

We deliver throughout South Africa, including rural areas — though delivery times to more remote locations may be slightly longer. If you're unsure about your area, get in touch and we'll confirm before you order.

Do you ship internationally?

Not yet. We currently deliver within South Africa only. Watch this space — the cats are plotting expansion.

What is your return policy?

We offer a 14-day return window from the date of delivery. Items must be unused and in their original condition. See our full Refund Policy for details.

How do I start a return?

Reach out to us at servant@theapartmentcat.com or via WhatsApp within 14 days of receiving your order. We'll guide you through the process — no bureaucratic hairballs, we promise.

What about premium pet food?

Premium pet food products are covered by the manufacturer's satisfaction guarantee. If your cat turns their nose up at it (as they do), contact us and we'll sort it out.

Are your products safe for cats?

Absolutely. We curate every product with indoor and apartment cats in mind — safety, enrichment, and quality are non-negotiable. If you have specific concerns about ingredients or materials, the product descriptions include full details, or you're welcome to ask us directly.

Do you carry a specific brand?

Our range is carefully selected rather than exhaustive. Browse our full catalogue to see what's currently available. If you're looking for something specific, drop us a message — we're always open to stocking suggestions from discerning cat households.

How do I know which product is right for my cat?

How do I track my order?

Once your order is dispatched, you'll receive a tracking notification via email. Keep an eye on your inbox (and your spam folder — just in case).

Can I change or cancel my order?

We process orders quickly, so changes aren't always possible after confirmation. Contact us as soon as possible at servant@theapartmentcat.com or via WhatsApp at +27 64 521 5564 and we'll do our best.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major payment methods available at checkout, including credit and debit cards. Secure, straightforward, and no funny business — unlike your cat at 3am.
